Common questions

Do I need an account or a sign-in?: No. Melonfall has no accounts. The Game Center leaderboard is optional and uses your Apple Game Center identity.
Does it work offline?: Yes — the full game is playable offline. Ads and the leaderboard need a connection.
How do the ads work?: An ad may appear at game-over, never mid-game. You're also offered an optional rewarded ad you can choose to watch for a one-time continue. You never have to watch one to keep playing.
How is my score submitted?: If you're signed in to Game Center, your high score is submitted under your Game Center identity. If you're not signed in, nothing is sent.
What's the Watermelon Counter?: Most players never make a watermelon. The game shows a live count of how many Game Center players ever have — and when you make your first one, you get your maker number. It's rarer than it looks.
Why did the bin end my run?: When fruit stacks above the danger line and stays there, the run ends. Merge pairs to keep the stack down — and chase the watermelon.
